Technical Accounting - Manager

Job Reponsibilities-
Lead an engagement from the Pierian front and deliver timely and high quality work, in
line with the Global team expectations.
Demonstrate strong understanding of accounting standards in the engagements on
Capital markets and SPAC transactions, SEC/SEBI Reporting and Compliance,
Financial Accounting and Reporting, GAAP conversions or accounting change (revenue
recognition and lease accounting)
Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Pierian Global counterparts.
Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing
with Pierian and Global teams.
Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work for Pierian on one's own
engagements.
Be responsible for various operational matters related to engagements aligned.

Qualifications, skills and experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)
13 years of postqualification experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting
preferably with a Big 4
Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and IndAS, expert analytical and advisory skills
Ability to communicate with global clients
Experience in at least some of the following areas:
o Financial statement preparation and consolidation process
o GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards
Candidates can expect atleast two-three rounds of technical interview
