Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as the primary liaison for our enterprise clients during and after onboarding. This is an on-site role based at our Bangalore office, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a customer-first mindset, and excellent communication skills. The TAM will play a critical role in client onboarding, campaign management, deliverability optimization, and long-term strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Client Onboarding & Enablement

  • Lead onboarding for enterprise clients, serving as the primary point of contact throughout their journey.
  • Facilitate product training, workflow setup, and go-live planning for smooth adoption.
  • Create and maintain onboarding documentation, guides, and best practices.

Account Management & Technical Support

  • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their goals and tailoring Mailercloud solutions to meet their needs.
  • Provide proactive technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices for email deliverability, integrations, and automation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Deliverability teams to resolve client issues and implement solutions.

Strategic Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients derive maximum ROI from Mailercloud.
  • Monitor client usage and adoption metrics to identify risks and drive engagement.

Required Skills

  • Email Deliverability and inbox placement strategies.
  • Email Campaign Flow Design, Setup, Configuration & Maintenance.
  • Email Database Segmentation for targeted campaigns.
  • Email Testing & Debugging for optimized results.
  • Campaign Management across enterprise accounts.
  • Hands-on with Deliverability Tools: EmailConsul, RedSift, 250ok, HetrixTools, GlockApps, Dmarcly, MailerQ, Netcore, CakeMail, SNDS, GPT, Validity, Yahoo FBL, Kibana, ElasticSearch, Dmarcian, Bright-Verify, Return-Path.
  • Familiarity with Email Testing Tools: Litmus, Email on Acid (Mozify), CloseAlert, IQONOMY, MotionMailapp, Usabilla, FreeBee.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in account management within a sales-driven organization. Experience with an email marketing automation platform will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing, campaign management, and deliverability best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and influence enterprise clients.
  • Problem-solving mindset with experience handling technical escalations.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and CRM tools is a plus.
