Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, and faster release cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to support application deployment, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and environments.
  • Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Maintain proper documentation of infrastructure, processes, and workflows.
  • Support production deployments and provide operational support as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle and continuous integration practices.
  • Solid system administration experience with a strong focus on Linux operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Good To Have / Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
