About The Team

You will be part of the WSI Technology Project Management Organization (PMO) located in Pune, India. The PMO is responsible for designing, building, and delivering key software components of our customer delivery platforms. The team drives initiatives that transform retail and enhance customer shopping experiences through innovative, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions.

Overview Of The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving large, complex, and multi-faceted technology initiatives or facilitating delivery across multiple agile teams. You will ensure that investments in time and resources deliver successful outcomes aligned with leadership, product, and architecture expectations. This role requires strong leadership, influence, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive definition and execution of project and program roadmaps in partnership with product and technology leadership.
  • Manage project scope, priorities, timelines, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide transparent reporting on schedule, cost, scope, and resource variances.
  • Lead Agile, Scrum, Lean, and Waterfall project delivery as appropriate.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure team backlogs are groomed and aligned with delivery commitments.
  • Remove impediments and protect teams from unnecessary disruptions.
  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships including SOWs and contract deliverables.
  • Drive effective communication across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Coach teams to improve velocity, quality, estimation, and delivery predictability.
  • Support team development through feedback and performance input.
  • Ensure project health aligns with business objectives and customer impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in software delivery, program management, or related roles.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Lean, and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSP, SAFe, or equivalent preferred.
