We're seeking a hungry, ambitious Sales Development Representative to be the tip of the spearopening doors and generating qualified pipeline for our growing sales team.
As an SDR at KaraX.ai, you will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. You'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, educating them on the Shadow AI crisis and positioning KaraX.ai as the solution. This role is ideal for someone looking to launch or accelerate their career in B2B SaaS sales with a clear path to an Account Executive position.
Outbound Prospecting
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, video) to target accounts
- Research and identify key decision-makers including CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, Sales Leaders, and Operations executives
- Craft personalized messaging that resonates with prospect pain points around Shadow AI, data security, and productivity
- Leverage sales intelligence tools to identify trigger events and buying signals
Market Development
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly quota of qualified meetings and Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs)
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in CRM
- Stay current on enterprise AI trends, Shadow AI risks, and competitive landscape
- Share prospect feedback and market insights with Marketing and Product teams
- Contribute ideas for improving outreach sequences, messaging, and targeting
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Resilience and persistencecomfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection
- Curiosity and coachabilityeager to learn, improve, and take feedback
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive to exceed targets
- Familiarity with enterprise software sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Understanding of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and awareness of enterprise AI adoption challenges
- Previous experience at a high-growth startup environment
- Track record of exceeding SDR quotas and earning promotion to closing roles
