Tech Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience managing software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, goals, roadmap, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

Create detailed project plans, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.

Drive execution across cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, Product).

Technical Leadership

Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Facilitate technical discussions, risk analysis, and architecture decision-making.

Ensure adherence to technical best practices, coding standards, and QA processes.

Team Management & Collaboration

Manage internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and progress reviews.

Mentor team members and ensure high performance and accountability.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Provide timely status updates, dashboards, and reports to leadership.

Manage expectations, escalate risks, and propose mitigation plans.

Quality, Risk & Compliance

Implement quality assurance strategies, testing protocols, and deployment readiness.

Identify project risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution.

Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master's preferred).

4+ years of experience managing technology or software development projects.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Cloud technologies.

Ability to read and understand technical documentation, architecture, and APIs.

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Good to Have

Project Management certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or Agile PM.
