About the Role

Digiqt Technolabs is hiring a Tech Lead to be an intrinsic part of our Agile Development teams. We're looking for a self-driven, self-organizing innovator who takes pride in building new products — someone who pushes boundaries, both internally and externally.

This role is for someone who doesn't just write code, but leads a team, owns architecture decisions, and drives full-stack products from design to production. If that's you, we want to talk.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire and mentor a team of high-caliber front-end and backend engineers
• Design and develop new user-facing full-stack applications
• Build reusable components and front-end / backend libraries for future use
• Optimize pages for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers
• Optimize backend systems for high scale
• Own architecture and design decisions across the stack
• Drive database design and data modeling
• Lead API implementation with a focus on security, scalability, and performance
• Bring practical, real-time implementation experience — not just theory

Skill Set

• 6+ years of experience in software development, including at least 1 year as a Tech Lead
• Experience with Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Python, and Microservices
• Deep understanding of React.js or Vue.js and their core principles
• Deep understanding of Node.js
• Familiarity with front-end tools like Babel, Webpack, and NPM
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or SVN
• Strong grasp of clean, object-oriented JavaScript and common design patterns
• Ability to debug complex issues in JavaScript
• Experience building complex single-page applications (front-end + backend)
• Experience with production full-stack debugging and DevOps
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Strong hands-on coding experience — real, not theoretical
• Strong experience in database design and data modeling for RDBMS and NoSQL
• Strong knowledge of Architecture & Design, NFRs, and translating functional requirements into technical solutions (mandatory)
• Exposure to building enterprise-quality solutions from scratch, with sound technology fitment

Good to Have

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
• Experience writing unit test cases with JS frameworks
• Experience with highly scalable applications
• AWS experience
