About the Role

- Drive end-to-end delivery of digital platforms, lending systems, and customer journeys.
- Sit at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution.
- Combine technical acumen with program management expertise in BFSI
Key Responsibilities
- Own planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects across the Gold Loans product lifecycle
- Manage loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and customer onboarding journeys
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and compliance partners
- Translate business requirements into clear technical roadmaps and deliverable milestones
- Manage sprint planning, release cycles, and dependencies across multiple cross-functional engineering teams
- Track project health through metrics, dashboards, and status reporting to senior leadership
- Identify technical risks, integration challenges, and bottlenecks early and drive them to resolution
- Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory requirements (RBI guidelines for gold loans, KYC/AML norms, data privacy)
- Uphold internal security and audit standards across all deliverables
- Oversee vendor management for third-party platforms, valuation tools, fintech partners, and infrastructure providers
- Champion engineering best practices around architecture reviews, code quality, testing, and DevOps
- Continuously improve delivery processes through Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in technology project management
- Substantial experience delivering software products in the BFSI sector (banks, NBFCs, fintechs, or lending platforms)
- Direct experience with gold loan product preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline (required)
- MBA is a plus but not mandatory; equivalent demonstrated business acumen equally valued
Technical Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of microservices architecture, REST and event-driven APIs
- Working knowledge of databases and integration patterns common in financial services
- Comfortable reading technical designs and challenging architectural decisions
- Able to engage in substantive conversations with engineers, architects, and security teams
- Exposure to core banking systems, loan origination and management platforms
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and modern CI/CD and observability platforms
- Working experience with Salesforce.
