Krimatix is a product company building enterprise software for industrial clients in the US.

️ This role is for Tech Leads only. Minimum 8 years of engineering experience and at least 2 years leading a team are mandatory. If you are a strong senior individual contributor looking for your first lead role, this is not the right opportunity at this time.

We are looking for a Tech Lead who has built and deployed full-stack systems in production, made real technical decisions, and directly managed a team of engineers.

Our platform drives industrial execution, inspection, and integrity workflows for US clients — and the entire user experience, every form, every workflow, every validation, is driven by configuration, not code.

If you have not worked on a configuration-driven platform before, this is a strong technical challenge worth your time.

What you will own:

→ End-to-end delivery of complex full-stack features — from system design through to production

→ Technical decisions your team cannot make without you — architecture, data models, security patterns

→ A metadata-driven platform where screens and workflows are generated from JSON configuration

→ Multi-tenant data isolation — not just adding a tenant ID, actual defense-in-depth architecture

→ RBAC across UI, API, and database layers — authorization-positive and authorization-negative

→ Shift-left quality — unit tests, integration tests, contract tests built in from day one, not added after

→ AI-ready features — vector search, embeddings, RAG pipelines as the product evolves

You must have:

8+ years of software engineering — mandatory

2+ years as a Tech Lead or Team Lead with direct ownership of engineers and delivery

Production-grade React and Next.js — data-heavy, multi-tenant web applications

Strong Node.js backend skills — Fastify preferred

Real experience designing relational schemas and queries — PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL

MongoDB in production — not just tutorials

Hands-on RBAC and multi-tenant architecture — you have built it, not just read about it

Shift-left testing mindset — testing is part of how you write code, not what happens after
