Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead - Data Analytics based in India.

This role is designed for a hands-on analytics leader who can bridge technical expertise with team leadership to deliver high-impact, data-driven insights across business functions. You will guide a team of analysts in transforming raw data into meaningful strategies that support decision-making and business growth. The position combines technical depth in data analytics, SQL, and visualization tools with strong leadership and stakeholder communication responsibilities. You will play a key role in shaping analytics strategy, ensuring data governance, and driving end-to-end project delivery in a fast-paced environment. The role also requires collaboration across cross-functional teams to design scalable data solutions and improve analytical maturity. This is a highly impactful position where your leadership will directly influence business outcomes and team performance.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of data analysts and data professionals to deliver high-quality, actionable insights.
  • Develop and execute data strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring analytics outputs support key organizational priorities.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex datasets to enable informed decision-making across business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement effective and scalable data solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and adherence to budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy standards, and organizational data policies.
  • Present insights, reports, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve capabilities.

Requirements

  • 2-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related data-driven roles.
  • Proven experience in leading or mentoring analytics or technical teams.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL for data extraction, querying, and database management.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, or Excel.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and execution.
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights in a clear and structured manner.
  • Strong leadership mindset with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to work in evening shifts and adapt to distributed, remote working setups.
