We are looking for a hands-on SDET Tech Lead with strong expertise in Manual Testing, Playwright or Cypress Automation, and Jenkins-based CI/CD deployments. The role requires end-to-end quality ownership, automation strategy leadership, and seamless release management. Roles & Responsibilities Manual Testing & Quality Ownership
Define test plans and strategy and ensure complete functional, performance, regression & UAT coverage
Own defect lifecycle (Jira), UAT, RCA, and release readiness
Ensure production validation and risk mitigation
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Cross-browser and responsive testing
API testing using Postman or similar tools
Validate end-to-end workflows across services
Experience in SQL/NoSQL
Automation (Playwright / Cypress)
Design and scale robust automation frameworks (UI & API)
Improve test stability, coverage, and reduce flaky tests
Conduct automation code reviews
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
CI/CD & Deployment (Jenkins)
Manage Jenkins pipelines and deployments
Trigger builds and manage environment-based deployments
Troubleshoot build failures and ensure release stability
Ensure automation execution in every deployment cycle
GenAI in QA
Use GenAI for test case generation, data creation, and script optimization
Enhance defect analysis and impact assessment through AI
Drive AI adoption within QA processes
Leadership & Agile
Lead and mentor QA team members
Drive sprint planning, estimations, and QA metrics
Ensure on-time, high-quality releases
Required Skills
5–6 years in Manual + Automation QA
3+ years strong hands-on experience in Playwright or Cypress
