We are not hiring a traditional HR.
We are hiring a Tech-Focused People & Talent Operator.
Someone who:
Understands how engineers think
Can read technical resumes beyond buzzwords
Has technical curiosity or background
Can build strong hiring pipelines
Maintains internal discipline and structure
If you don't understand what distributed systems, NLP, infra scaling, or system design mean at a high level this role is not for you.
Role Overview
You will own:
End-to-end Tech Hiring
Internal HR & discipline systems
Performance tracking & documentation
Reporting structures & accountability
You will work directly with founders and engineering leads.
You are building the people backbone of the company.
Core Responsibilities
1 Tech Hiring (Primary Focus 70%)
Hiring across:
iOS / Android Engineers
Backend (Distributed Systems)
AI (NLP / Speech / ML)
Security Engineers
Product & GTM roles
You must:
Deeply evaluate technical resumes
Ask intelligent first-level screening questions
Understand difference between average dev vs strong systems engineer
Build direct sourcing pipelines (LinkedIn, GitHub, tech communities)
Maintain hiring dashboards & metrics
Improve quality-of-hire
2 People Operations & Discipline (30%)
Maintain employee records & documentation
Maintain reporting structure clarity
Track probation & confirmations
Support structured performance reviews
Maintain PIP documentation when required
Ensure zero ambiguity in roles & accountability

What We're Looking For
48 years in Tech Hiring / People Ops
Experience hiring engineers in product startups
Experience building hiring pipelines from scratch
Technical Inclination Required
One of the following:
Engineering background (B.Tech / BE / Tech-related degree)
OR prior experience working closely with engineering teams
OR ability to understand technical stacks & architecture discussions
You should be comfortable discussing:
Backend vs distributed systems
AI/ML role differences
Mobile architecture basics
Infra and scaling conversations at a high level
You don't need to code.
But you must understand technology deeply enough to filter talent properly.
