Tech Business Analyst – PAM (Privileged Access Management)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tech Business Analyst – PAM to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical security solutions, specifically in the domain of Privileged Access Management (PAM). The candidate will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to define, analyze, and implement PAM solutions that enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Privileged Access Management (PAM) focuses on securing and monitoring high-level access to critical systems, ensuring least privilege, credential protection, and auditability.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for PAM initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders (security, IAM, IT operations, application teams) to define PAM use cases
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Support implementation of PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea)
• Conduct gap analysis between current and target-state PAM architecture
• Work on onboarding privileged accounts, applications, and systems into PAM tools
• Define workflows for access requests, approvals, and provisioning
• Ensure alignment with least privilege principle and security policies
• Support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements (SOX, ISO, etc.)
• Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), validation, and production rollouts
• Create documentation including BRD, FRD, SOPs, and process flows
• Coordinate with DevOps/cloud teams for PAM integration (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Monitor PAM adoption and suggest improvements for efficiency and security

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/security domain

Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts:

Password Vaulting

Session Management

Just-in-Time (JIT) Access

Credential Rotation

Experience with PAM tools such as:

CyberArk

BeyondTrust

Delinea (Thycotic)

Knowledge of IAM concepts (RBAC, MFA, SSO, Identity Governance)

Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
