Job Description:-
The Teamcenter Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Teamcenter PLM solutions to meet business and engineering requirements. The role involves close collaboration with functional consultants, CAD teams, and IT to deliver stable and scalable PLM implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Teamcenter using BMIDE:
- Data model creation and extension
- Custom business objects, attributes, and relations
- Develop and support Teamcenter customizations using:
- ITK
- SOA / REST APIs
- Customize and support:
- Workflows
- Lifecycle states
- Access control rules (ACL)
- Develop and maintain server-side and client-side customizations.
- Support CAD integrations (NX / Creo / CATIA) with Teamcenter.
- Work on data migration, conversion, and validation activities.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing of custom solutions.
- Analyze and fix performance and functional issues.
- Support Teamcenter upgrades and patch deployments.
- Prepare technical design documents and development artifacts.
- Coordinate with TC Admins, functional consultants, and business users.
- Provide production support and defect resolution.
Technical Skills (Must Have)
- Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter BMIDE.
- Experience in ITK development (C/C++).
- Good knowledge of SOA and REST services.
- Strong understanding of Teamcenter data model and core concepts:
- Items, Item Revisions, Datasets
- BOM, Workflow, Change Management
- Experience with CAD integrations (NX / Creo / CATIA).
- Knowledge of Teamcenter security model (Roles, Groups, ACLs).
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
Good to Have
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing domain.
- Exposure to Active Workspace customization.
- Knowledge of Dispatcher, Visualization, and FSC configuration.
- Experience with migration tools and bulk data loading.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Git, and CI/CD practices.
