Job responsibility

Team Member Wifi is responsible for Feasibility, Solution and Implementation of Wi-Fi Hotspot for Premium – Airports, 5 Star, 4 Star, Stadium, Retail – Cafe's, Malls and Events & hospitality segments 3 Star, Service Apartments, Educational Institutes etc.

The Key Areas of Responsibility are as under -

  • Adhere to the Defined processes and active participation in Design, Documentation and Strategy, Delivery and Assurance for Wi-Fi
  • Responsible for Survey of leads generated by sales within specified TAT.
  • Responsible for Preparation of Site Diagrams & customized BOM.
  • Responsible for provisioning Backhaul- Onnet / Offnet
  • Responsible to adhere Process, Compliance and guideline circulated time to time by respective officials.
  • Responsible to identify Gaps and provide ideas/ solutions to bridge the gaps and process amendment.
  • Implementation through different team for last mile, CPE and Backend Solution within specified TAT
  • Own Wi-Fi Network Inventory, Manage & Up-grade Capacity as Business Needs & AOP.
  • Maintain Wi-Fi Access & Customer Network Uptime with agreed SLA & MTTR,
  • Reduce repeats incident with Proactive & Preventive Maintenance of Network
  • Maintain Quality & Standards of Customer & Access Network
  • Understand Customer & Business requirement and give Customized / Cost effective network solution
  • End to End responsibility of Customer Network and able to deliver it from different Owners of network layers (Access – Core – Application – NOC).

Project Management

Detailed understanding & having knowledge of Wireline & Wireless Technology (TDM, SDH, DWDM, Fiber, VSAT, Metro-E, Broadband, WIMAX, RF, UBR/LBR, Wi-Fi, DLC, DSLAM)

Security services like Firewall, UTM, IDM, Broadband, Hotspot 2.0, 802.X & other IEEE Standards etc..

Governance and Expertise Multi Vendor / Multi Skills

Hands on Experience on Last Mile & Network Solution with Fiber, Copper, RF Media

Knowledge on Layer 1 Transmission Devices such as MUX & Customer End Equipments for Voice, Data and Broadband Solution to Customer

Knowledge & Hands On / extensive experience on Domestic & National Long Distance Leased Lines, Internet & MPLS networks, L2 & L3 VPN,

Customer & Business Orientation

Understanding Regulatory and TRAI Compliance

Qualification

Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.

Diploma / MBA in Management

Overall Work Experience 10 years of Telecom & Wi-Fi / Wi-Max / Hotspot Experience
