Job Title: Team Member – US Payroll

Location: Bangalore

Exp Range: 1-5 Years

Date: 13th June 2026

Timings: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Venue: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Think Campus, Electronic City Phase 2, Bengaluru - 560100

Only Work from Office (No Hybrid, No Remote, No Work from Home)

Shift Timing: Should be comfortable with night (US) & Rotational Shifts

Mandatory Documents to carry:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our growing HRO payroll support team. This role is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have payroll processing experience, strong diligence, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. This position offers opportunities for growth within payroll and broader HR operational and delivery functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees according to client's pay calendar/pay schedule
  • Review and validate timekeeping records, payroll adjustments, and employee changes
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and taxes
  • Maintain payroll records in compliance with required statutory and country/site regulations
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, benefits, and employee updates
  • Prepare payroll reports and support month-end and year-end processes
  • Assist with payroll tax filings, and audits as needed
  • Support payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 to 5 years of experience with payroll systems, payroll processing, and/or HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, or similar preferred)
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Attention to details and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Elevated level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
