Job Purpose
This role is responsible for ensuring that all products and marketing literature/ collaterals of BSLAMC are compliant as per SEBI, AMFI and applicable regulatory norms. The role is also responsible for ensuring that the organization is updated on any announcements pertaining to regulatory changes so as to mitigate any risk that may arise out of non-compliance with respect to product stipulations laid out by regulators.

Its offerings also include Portfolio advisory services for High Net worth individuals as well as offshore funds for Non Resident Indians. There are approx. 176 schemes managed by the organisation as on Dec 2015. Supporting Actions
To support the reporting manager in contract management
- Reviewing Service level agreements, leave and license agreement, software license agreement, data license agreement, deed of guarantee, indemnity agreement, transfer agency agreement and distribution agreement.
- Review of engagement letters for consultants and service providers.
- To improvise the existing process for contract management digitally.
Assist in training and product development
- To provide training to customer service department on legal provisions.
- To assist in advising on various business proposals & review documentation of new business products/services from legal perspective.
- To improvise the existing process for contract & litigation management digitally.
Litigation management and non-investment matters
- Assisting manager on litigation and arbitration matters pertaining to all lines of business including investment related litigation matters.
- Assist in reviewing replies/representation to notices issued by statutory and regulatory authorities, counterparties, etc. and draft responses.
- Assisting the reporting line manager on whistle blower cases and fraud cases.
