Key Responsibilities:

Execution of Audit Strategy and Plan - Effectively execute & achieve the approved risk-based audit plan of the IS Audit Vertical to ensure timely completion of audit plan & projects along with quality of audits, & meet with all audit documentation & reporting requirements as per audit policy and procedures & leading best practices
- Ensure coverage of project scoping of processes/sub-processes to make sure that all relevant /inherent risks are identified, assessed & covered timely & qualitatively (TL/TM)
- Provide effective recommendations for improvements to the organization policies, processes & practices based on leading industry practices and emerging risks
- Support vertical head to enhance audit process/procedures & RCMs checklists for adequate & effective audit coverage of the Audit Vertical & update/maintain to keep them current relevant keeping pace & aligned with changes in internal policies/guidelines as well as legal/regulatory changes and evolving industry best practices
- Effective audit report writing & ACB presentations as per the Do's & Don't provided by Head of Internal Audit
- Ensure adherence to Internal Audit Charter, Policies & Methodology

Audit Automation and Innovation Support vertical head in Application of Emerging Technology/Digital in the Internal Audit (IA) process - - Support Head of Internal Audit & vertical head in exploring and driving usage of emerging tech (like Generative AI, ML) in Credit audit to drive risk mitigation & build efficiency leveraging data & tech
- Support VH to Automate Controls Testing (CT) in Audit Vertical:
- Support in devising roadmap for automating CT with milestone & timeline.
- Manage & execute strategy to achieve automation of CT as per roadmap
- Identify opportunities to automate CT.
- Support VH to Scale up CCM to enhance effectiveness & coverage of automated CT
- Support vertical head to develop strategy to identify triggers/risk hotspots & conduct unplanned review, where appropriate based on triggers/hot spots, directives received from regulators, board committees & senior management
- Keep abreast of emerging audit trends, existing sys/process flows/data structure & industry best practice, identify & drive key audit initiative for efficient & effective achievement of audit objective
- Support vertical head to build efficiencies & enhance effectiveness of IA using advanced integrated auditing concepts & extensive use of tech & data analysis

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement - Active engagement with stakeholders for implementation of recommendations for effective risk mitigations and improvement in the control environment
- Effective communication and reporting to various stakeholders including all CXOs and section heads

People Management - Support vertical head to build subject matter expertise and knowledge of specialists in the team.
- Create avenues for tacit knowledge sharing/transfer in the team and lead from the front in knowledge sharing/transfer.
- Support vertical head in techno-functional skills development for effective efficient audits. Continuous development of self and the team through regular learning and sharing of knowledge / best practices.
