Job Description

  • Review basic and detailed engineering designs from a safety and statutory compliance perspective.
  • Participate in risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP studies, and safety design reviews.
  • Ensure safety compliance during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as hot work, electrical work, work at height, and confined space entry.
  • Implement and monitor permit-to-work systems.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and routine safety inspections.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of toxic and flammable chemicals like xylene, paints, and solvents.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, emergency response plans, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with GPCB, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Department, and other statutory bodies.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, licenses, and legal documentation.
  • Drive continuous safety improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and guide a small team of safety personnel post project commissioning.
