The Role: Leading with Precision
As an RCM Coding Team Manager, you are the guardian of coding integrity and operational excellence. You serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multi-specialty medical coding, ensuring that our internal teams and global partners deliver world-class accuracy for our clients.
You will innovate boldly by developing workflows that maximize productivity without sacrificing quality. By aligning passion with purpose, you will mentor a team of certified coders, helping them grow professionally while fulfilling our mission to enhance medical practice success. In this role, you don't just manage a processyou create customer delight by ensuring our doctors are compensated accurately and timely for the care they provide.
How You'll Drive Success
- Inspire & Mentor: Foster a high-performance culture by providing personalized coaching and targeted training. You are responsible for the growth and positive experience of every individual on your team.
- Master the Workflow: Manage the day-to-day functions of the internal coding department. You will oversee the Quality Assurance (QA) workflow for initial claims and coding denials, ensuring our BOOST customers receive optimal results.
- Save Time through Efficiency: Proactively identify friction points in current processes. You'll design and implement SOPs and workflows that streamline operations and ensure claims are collected accurately and quickly.
- Global Collaboration: Act as the bridge between ModMed and our global coding partners. You'll lead recurring meetings to analyze trends, review quality accuracy, and ensure our global vendors meet our high standards.
- Think Big on Compliance: Ensure that all coding and billing activities for gGastro, gMed, and EMA/PM clients strictly adhere to compliance regulations. You are the final line of defense for coding integrity.
- Solve Problems Boldly: Directly engage in high-level problem solving, from resolving production bottlenecks to clarifying complex coding documentation for our Client Success teams.
What You Bring to the Team
- The Expert Mindset: A proven track record in multi-specialty medical coding and documentation. You are an expert in coding QA auditing.
- Leadership Experience: Strong experience leading teams of certified coders, both internally and through global vendor partnerships.
