Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional with strong expertise in US accounting, client management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience handling both B2B and B2C clients, managing accounting operations independently, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting functions for US-based clients.
  • Handle both B2B and B2C client accounts across multiple industries.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.
  • Communicate directly with clients to resolve accounting queries and provide operational support.
  • Lead and mentor team members while ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth workflow management.
  • Assist management with process improvement initiatives and operational planning.
  • Handle payroll-related activities and maintain understanding of W2 and 1099 processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Take ownership of client deliverables and maintain service quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in US Accounting and Bookkeeping.
  • Strong practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online (mandatory), QuickBooks Desktop, NetSuite, and Xero.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, W2, and 1099 reporting.
  • Proven experience handling direct client communication independently.
  • Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong team leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with US CPA firms or outsourced accounting firms.
  • Experience managing transition or process improvement projects.
  • Ability to train and guide junior staff members.
