Job Summary

• 5+ years of hands on experience on Mainframe COBOL,DB2 and JCL in a z/OS environment.
• Knowledge on VSAM and CICS and Knowledge on SAS and Ibm IDZ is an advantage.
• Experience in project life cycle phases including analysis, design, programming and implementation
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Experience in IBM Debug tool for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer, IBM File Manager, IBM Application Performance Analyzer, SPUFI
• knowledge on Ticketing tools like ServiceNow
• knowledge on Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management concepts
• Provide L2/L3 production support, attending production calls.
• Automation, Mentor other Developers, Support or Quality Assurance in understanding product architecture, new functionality and strategies for problem resolution.
