Team Leader - Revenue Controllership

As a Team Leader - Revenue Controllership, you will play a critical role in overseeing revenue controllership operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards, providing revenue related guidance and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting. You will lead a high-performing team while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, FP&A teams, and audit partners to deliver meaningful outcomes and drive operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of revenue controllership professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Review large and complex revenue contracts and technical accounting memorandum documentation to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Provide guidance and support to business teams and FP&A partners during contract negotiations, assessing revenue recognition impacts and risks.
• Review and approve monthly and quarterly audit sign-offs, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Oversee monthly revenue reporting and analytics, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of revenue numbers.
• Support month-end close activities and resolve revenue-related issues in a timely manner.
• Identify and review opportunities to enhance bookings reporting, revenue analytics, and related financial insights.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the revenue controllership function.

What you must have to be considered

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
• Strong experience in revenue controllership, revenue recognition, and technical accounting.
• Experience reviewing complex revenue contracts and accounting documentation.
• Proven people leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with business and FP&A teams.
• Experience supporting audits, month-end close activities, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A strong sense of ownership, commitment to quality, and focus on delivering meaningful business outcomes.
