Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

  • Creating a seamless bridge between supply and production, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of packing materials to ensure our plant never misses a beat. You will have the unique opportunity to drive strategic inventory efficiency while dedicated to world-class quality and storage standards. Developing strong partnerships with suppliers and cross-functional operations teams, you will be the primary architect of a lean, responsive material flow system. This role is based on-site at our manufacturing facility, where your leadership directly impacts our ability to deliver products to customers on time

Responsibilities :

  • Owning the comprehensive packing materials planning process by synchronizing supplier schedules with the master production plan to ensure 100% availability.
  • Driving strategic inventory management through rigorous physical counts, receipt monitoring, and collaboration with Operations to minimize end-of-run leftover inventory.
  • Leading warehouse excellence by overseeing the receipt, unloading, segregation, and status labeling of all packing materials in compliance with GMP and SOPs.
  • Partnering with Sourcing and Quality teams to manage vendor ratings, coordinate the return of rejected materials, and implement corrective actions for sourcing discrepancies.
  • Partnering with Suppliers to uphold the Factory's EHS (Safety) Standards.
  • Championing quality standards by ensuring COA compliance for every batch and maintaining documented practices for the handling of out-of-specification materials.
  • Mentoring and training team members on material receipt procedures and storage bay management to optimize facility through put

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven expertise in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for tracking receipts and consumption also Advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Standards, including GMP requirements and SOP documentation for material handling.

Preferred Qualifications:.

  • Analytical Leadership: Ability to use data-driven insights to track OSMI (Obsolete and Slow-Moving Inventory) and optimize disposal processes.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating with external suppliers and internal technical services/quality teams.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Experience implementing artwork (AW) changes and sustainable practices, such as recyclable material dispatch and stretch-wrap optimization.
