Role Description
VMax Wellness is seeking a results-driven and hands-on Tele Sales Operations Team Leader to lead and scale our inside sales function. This role requires a strong sales leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving revenue from qualified leads, and implementing scalable sales processes.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, sets high standards, and consistently delivers revenue growth through disciplined execution and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and scale the inside/tele sales team to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Own end-to-end sales performance from qualified inbound and outbound leads across multiple channels.
- Develop and execute a structured inside sales strategy focused on lead conversion, upselling, and customer retention.
- Define, track, and achieve individual and team sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Design and implement scalable sales processes, scripts, and SOPs supported by CRM and auto-dialing systems.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and brand consistency.
- Establish a strong quality assurance, coaching, and performance management framework.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and skill development initiatives for the sales team to enhance their performance and growth.
- Create and manage incentive plans, contests, and motivation programs to drive high performance.
- Monitor key sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline health to ensure revenue and profitability goals are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Master's or bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputed premier institution.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Inside / Tele Sales, preferably in a B2C environment
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Tele Sales Lead, managing a team of at least 20 Tele Sales Executives
- Prior experience in the health and wellness industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Result-oriented professionals with good relationship skills. Proven ability to plan, forecast, and manage resources. Excellent business and people's judgment capabilities.
- Own and hit/exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
- Candidate to be fluent in English and one or more languages (Tamil, Telugu, or Hindi).
- In-depth knowledge and experience in growing and running large Inside Sales/ Tele sales teams.
