Responsibilities
The CAD Team Lead role includes the following responsibilities:

- Build and maintain internal client relationships with the Canadian Team to coordinate project deliverables and ensure accurate, timely and quality delivery of project requirements.
- Cultivate a team environment through leadership, mentorship, knowledge sharing and career development.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert regarding digital design applications, industry best practices and client project requirements.
- Assist with proposal submissions, including scope of work, budgets and timelines.
- Drive and enforce company standards, procedures, work flows and best practices.
- Drive and enforce company quality control and assurance protocols, prior to each project submission to ensure a high standard of care.
- Help drive staff motivation, productivity and performance.
- Effectively apply knowledge of digital drafting and design applications, specifically AutoDesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge on projects from startup to completion.
- Contribute to the technical capabilities of the iCRC team through the provision of mentorship, knowledge sharing and training.
- Provide staff performance evaluations and assist with personal improvement plans.
- Provide and support career development plans for staff to support skills development, effective succession management, career pathing and staff retention.
- Support the sustainability strategy for WSP.
- ability to train iCRC team members while reinforcing our national/global corporate standards.

Qualifications
- Engineer or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Design Technology or equivalent in relevant field.
- A minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role.
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience in providing CAD support for large multidisciplinary projects in relevant fields.
- Certification or demonstrated proficiency using digital design applications: AutoDesk AutoCAD AND AutoDesk Civil 3D in relevant fields.
- Demonstrated proficiency using office applications: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
