Job Title: Team Leader – Admission Counseling

Job Summary
The Team Leader – Admission Counseling is responsible for leading a team of admission counselors, ensuring achievement of admission targets, improving lead conversion rates, maintaining counseling quality, and delivering an excellent student and parent experience throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management & Leadership Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of admission counselors.
- Conduct daily huddles, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Manage team productivity, attendance, and engagement.
- Admissions Target Achievement Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual admission targets.
- Monitor individual and team conversion performance.
- Develop strategies to maximize enrollments and revenue.
- Lead Management & Conversion Ensure proper lead allocation and follow-up.
- Track inquiry-to-admission conversion ratios.
- Handle high-potential and escalated leads personally when required.
- Quality Monitoring Monitor inbound and outbound counseling calls.
- Ensure counselors provide accurate program and admission information.
- Maintain counseling quality standards and compliance.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze conversion data, counselor productivity, and admission trends.
- Present performance insights to management.
- Student & Parent Relationship Management Ensure excellent counseling experience for students and parents.
- Resolve escalations and admission-related concerns.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Training & Development Identify skill gaps and conduct training sessions.
- Improve counselors communication, objection handling, and closing skills.
- Support onboarding of new team members.

Preferred Qualification

- 4–8+ years of experience in Admissions, Education Sales, EdTech, or University Counseling.
- Minimum 2–3 years of team handling experience.
- Experience managing inbound/outbound counseling teams and admission targets.
