Industry: Maritime / Shipping / Cargo Operations

Role:

Lead end-to-end cargo operations from booking to discharge, including vessel planning, cargo allocation, port operations and turnaround performance across GCC ports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vessel planning, cargo allocation, stowage and vessel turnaround.
• Ensure compliance with maritime, port, customs and shipping regulations.
• Manage operational costs including port costs, demurrage, detention and stevedoring.
• Track KPIs such as vessel TAT, berth productivity, cargo damage, port cost and on-time sailing.
• Manage relationships with ports, terminals, customs, freight forwarders and shipping agents.
• Drive process improvement, digitalization and automation of cargo operations.
• Manage cargo documentation, ERP/TOS/Cargo Management Systems.
• Lead and develop multi-location GCC operations teams.
• Manage vendors, contracts and SLAs.

Required:

• 12+ years in Maritime Cargo / Vessel Operations.
• Strong GCC port operations experience.
• Excellent knowledge of cargo operations and shipping processes.
• Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and travel as required.
