Team Leader - Apps & Software Development

• As a Team Leader in our Global IT team, you will helm the development of comprehensive customized applications, managing end-to-end project lifecycles. Your expertise will cover key competencies such as Software Development & Digital Solutions, Data Analytics & AI, Digital Workplace Automation, Infrastructure & Operations, Test Automation & Quality Engineering, as well as IT Projects & Program Management.

• Your role will be instrumental in fostering technology innovation, cultivating a high-performance team culture, and upholding operational excellence, positioning our Hub as a trusted partner globally in digital advancements and customer satisfaction.

• You will leverage your deep understanding of modern application technology stacks and agile methodologies, including AI-enhanced software development practices. Mastery of essential tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence will be key to orchestrating the full application lifecycle with precision.

• Strong technical capabilities are expected in full-stack development technologies encompassing front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and CSS, as well as robust back-end expertise in .NET, Python, API development, and microservices architectures. Expertise in integrating the Microsoft ecosystem-including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI-to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions is crucial.

• Your proficiency should extend to enterprise system integrations involving Azure/cloud platforms, SharePoint, Office 365, and Dynamics 365, complemented by a steadfast adherence to Agile, DevOps, and engineering best practices to ensure software solutions that are secure, reusable, and industry-compliant.

• Experience with modern testing frameworks, UI/UX collaboration tools such as Figma, and AI-enabled development assistants like Microsoft Copilot will position you advantageously to lead your team in delivering innovative, high-quality applications aligned with cutting-edge industry standards.

• Proven ability to lead complex projects from inception through to successful delivery, aligning with schedule, budget, and customer expectations.
• Strong competence in translating business requirements into precise technical designs in partnership with Business Analysts and Scrum Masters, providing robust technical leadership.
• Expertise in coaching and mentoring teams to enhance technical skills, improve customer interaction capabilities, and serve as effective first points of contact for the Global IT Hub.
• Commitment to developing talent through targeted competency mapping, skills assessment, and strategic training plans that meet dynamic organizational needs.
• Innovative mindset to embrace and promote new technologies and methodologies, ensuring the Hub remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
• Experience in building ecosystems that include academia, start-ups, and external partners to bridge competency gaps and foster impactful technology solutions.
• Excellence in operational governance with skills in project tracking, quality assurance, resource allocation, and cost management to consistently deliver superior outcomes.

Experience Requirement:

• Preferably 10+ years of experience in software development or data engineering, with proven success in similar team leadership roles.

• Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience in building, developing, and optimizing large teams in the specified competence area.

• Hands-on technical expertise in relevant technologies, including programming languages, database design, and Azure, supported by strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field a master's degree and relevant certifications are an advantage.
