Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Software Development to oversee the design, customization, and deployment of software solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to guide a team of developers, ensuring successful project implementation and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers to deliver high-quality implementation projects.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Solution Design and Development

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop customized software modules or system integrations tailored to client specifications.
  • Ensure all development aligns with best practices, organizational standards, and project goals.

Implementation and Deployment

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation process, including configuration, testing, and deployment of solutions.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure robust testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and post-deployment.

Process Optimization and Automation

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement automation where possible.
  • Document workflows, solutions, and best practices for internal use and knowledge sharing.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients.
  • Provide regular updates to clients, project managers, and leadership.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Ensure smooth handover of completed solutions to support or maintenance teams.
  • Provide training or guidance to clients and end-users.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development and implementation roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful implementation projects in a client-focused environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Strong understanding of system integration and APIs (RESTful, SOAP, or GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and query optimization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) or relevant technologies.
  • Experience in specific domains (e.g., ERP systems, SaaS platforms, CRM integrations).
