About the Role

As a Team Lead – Sales at Vedantu, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of Academic Counsellors to achieve monthly revenue and conversion targets. Your role includes driving performance, improving the sales funnel, mentoring team members, and maintaining a high-quality student/parent experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Academic Counsellors to achieve renewal and retention targets.
  2. Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  3. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and feedback discussions.
  4. Drive customer retention by ensuring effective engagement with existing students and parents.
  5. Analyze renewal metrics, identify gaps, and implement action plans to improve performance.
  6. Ensure adherence to process guidelines, quality standards, and productivity benchmarks.
  7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
  8. Prepare and share performance reports, dashboards, and business updates with stakeholders.
  9. Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
    2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Renewals, Retention, Customer Success, or Inside Sales, with at least 1 year of team handling experience.
    3. Proven experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve business targets.
    4. Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
    5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
    6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    7. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
