About the Role
As a Team Lead – Sales at Vedantu, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of Academic Counsellors to achieve monthly revenue and conversion targets. Your role includes driving performance, improving the sales funnel, mentoring team members, and maintaining a high-quality student/parent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Academic Counsellors to achieve renewal and retention targets.
- Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and feedback discussions.
- Drive customer retention by ensuring effective engagement with existing students and parents.
- Analyze renewal metrics, identify gaps, and implement action plans to improve performance.
- Ensure adherence to process guidelines, quality standards, and productivity benchmarks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and share performance reports, dashboards, and business updates with stakeholders.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Renewals, Retention, Customer Success, or Inside Sales, with at least 1 year of team handling experience.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve business targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
