Role Overview

We're looking for a person who makes the machine run and then makes it better. As Team Lead - Research Operations, you are the foundation of Bough's Research Operations practice: the quality standard-setter, and the day-to-day owner of everything that happens between a contact list and a completed interview.

This role operates at the intersection of outreach discipline, AI-assisted intelligence, and client relationship management. You will be engaging senior decision-makers and C-suite professionals in financial services on behalf of world-class research clients.

You will build the process, lead the team, own the numbers, and be the face of Bough's delivery at the working level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across active client studies - from contact strategy and multi-channel outreach through interview scheduling, team oversight, and status reporting
  • Design and manage the structured contact cadences, ensuring campaigns are executed with precision and adjusting channel mix based on response rates
  • Oversee AI-assisted outreach personalization by reviewing content quality every campaign deployment and maintain standards across every touch point
  • Maintain the contact intelligence layer: enrichment runs, job change detection, bounce resolution, and data hygiene before every study cycle
  • Supervise, coach, and quality-review Executive Interviewers through weekly call reviews, structured feedback, and non-negotiable delivery standards
  • Own the client relationship at the working level: proactive weekly reporting, early flagging of issues, and real-time quota visibility for the client

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-7+ years in B2B or financial services research, with demonstrated ownership of outreach strategy, operations, and interview delivery
  • Experience conducting or supervising executive-level telephone interviews with senior professionals; track record of meeting study quotas and delivery timelines
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple studies simultaneously and deliver under pressure, meet deadlines
  • Exceptional spoken and written English; you represent Bough credibly with senior client stakeholders and set the standard for the team
  • This role operates during client time zone business hours (CST/EST), a requirement that defines how the position functions

Preferred Skills

  • Commercially aware and self-directed - you flag problems, propose solutions, and close loops without being asked
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-touch outreach campaigns; familiarity with campaign platforms, dialers, enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo, or similar), and AI-generated content workflows
