Team Lead - Ad Operations

The Team lead will be responsible for managing a team of AdOperations who will be trafficking Video campaigns through the Publisher platform as per the client's instructions.
Responsibilities:
The Team Lead - Ad Operations will manage team performance, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality output. The role involves working closely with ad traffickers to monitor campaign setup, execution, and delivery. The Team Lead will also serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient workflow execution.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong understanding of ad-serving capabilities, Display and Video implementation, mobile implementation, creative processes, dynamic ads, tasks involved in campaign implementation and execution, and the digital media planning and buying process
- Take initiative by providing insight and guidance on how to continually improve processes as it relates to ad trafficking and improve digital marketing campaigns to achieve success.
- Should know RCA techniques to control the Quality. Work with the Quality Team and provide feedback to the agents on a timely basis
- Demonstrate proficiency in data visualization skills. Should be able to create WBR, QBR and YBR decks for the clients with the performance metrics of the team
- Handle client calls every week to bridge gaps in the process (Contribute to and participate proactively in knowledge sharing sessions).
- Track the performance of the team (Quality, SLAs, Campaign deliveries, Revenue loss)
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to analyze the data and come up with insights.
- Identify the training needs of team members and provide coaching support to them
- Establish process and protocol for pre-launch prep work, including performing quality assurance on all tasks
- Identify the new/growth opportunities within the process
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong detail orientation and excellent problem-solving skills
- Handle the escalations from the client
- Ability to support inquiries from leadership, sales, and the account management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience using programmatic buying platforms such as DoubleClick, Trade Desk, Google Analytics, major social media platforms, etc.
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing a team within the advertising or marketing technology sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of driving successful programmatic campaigns exceeding client KPIs.
- Deep understanding of programmatic buying concepts: real-time bidding (RTB), audience targeting, brand safety, ad verification, viewability, and attribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects.
- Experience with cross-device and omnichannel campaigns.
