Company Description

We are a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm with a strong focus on cross-border work in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, UAE & EU. I am a Chartered Accountant with 21 years of experience and a partner handling tax and compliance practice.

We handle day-to-day bookkeeping, financial statements, payroll and indirect taxes such as sales tax, GST, VAT and related registrations and filings. Our team also manages business set-up and ongoing corporate compliances, including company formations, foreign registrations, annual reports, franchise tax and dissolutions.

On the tax side, we work extensively with both individual and business returns, including non-resident and international cases, and provide compliance reviews. In addition, we assist with specialised matters such as tax residency certificates, bank account support, trademarks and non-profit formation and compliance, giving clients a single point of contact for multi-jurisdictional needs.

Role Description

  1. Tax and Compliance: You will review and oversee the preparation of a wide range of US, UK and Canadian tax filings, including US returns (1040, 1040NR, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 5471, 5472, 990, 1041, 706, franchise tax, sales tax, payroll tax, 1099s, W-8/W-8BEN and FBAR), UK filings (SA100, CT600, annual accounts, confirmation statements, VAT and payroll filings) and Canadian filings (T1, T2, and GST/HST/PST/QST)
  2. Business Compliances & Entity Management: Oversee company formations and ongoing compliance for entities in the US, UK and Canada and other jurisdictions. This includes reviewing key corporate documentation such as certificates of incorporation, bylaws, articles and minutes books, as well as annual reports, franchise tax filings and certificates of good standing. You will also handle foreign registrations, DBAs, entity conversions, domestications and dissolutions. In addition, you will coordinate secretarial support work, including preparing notices and resolutions, recording minutes of meetings, documenting officer appointments, managing share transfers and maintaining accurate corporate records.
  3. Accounting, Indirect Tax Oversight: You will also review economic nexus and threshold analyses for US sales tax and similar rules in other jurisdictions, manage registrations, deregistrations and ongoing return filings across multiple states and countries.
