Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

Team Lead - Supplier master data

Role at FAO Service Center, Bangalore.

Global Grade 13 reporting to Associate Delivery Manager.

Provide defined services to the internal customers with best quality in most efficient way.

As a Team Lead, Supplier Master Data, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of specialists and managing the customer master data governance within the organization. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer data across various systems and platforms.

Your responsibilities

  • Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of customer master data specialists. Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Data Maintenance and Governance: Oversee the maintenance and governance of customer data records, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes to perform data audits, validations, and cleansing activities. Identify and rectify data discrepancies or errors.
  • Data Integration and Synchronization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and synchronization of customer data across various systems and platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement related to customer master data management. Implement efficient workflows, automation, and best practices to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams, to understand their data requirements and provide accurate and timely customer data support.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and provide insights on customer data metrics, trends, and patterns. Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and process optimization.
  • Training and Development: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for the team and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent understanding of data management processes and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in managing Supplier data governance (MDG) or master data management (MDM) processes in SAP S4/HANA.
  • In-depth knowledge of data management principles and practices, including data governance and data quality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Proficiency in using database management tools and systems.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving data management trends and technologies.
  • Must be flexible in working for any shift timings.
