Team Leader – MSME & Industries (IIDA), Uttar Pradesh
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end programme delivery for MSME & Industries engagements in Uttar Pradesh, ensuring timely execution, governance, MIS reporting and field implementation across districts. The role is delivery-first (no sales/BD) and manages a 15+ member team aligned to agreed project outcomes and government priorities.
Key Responsibilities (Core Delivery)
1) Programme Execution & Governance
- Own day-to-day delivery against scope, milestones, and KPIs for MSME/Industries projects.
- Run governance cadence: weekly/monthly reviews, action tracking, issue resolution and closure.
- Maintain project plans, RACI, risk logs and implementation trackers.
2) State & District Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary delivery interface with the MSME/Industries department, directorates and district officials.
- Coordinate inter-department dependencies and ensure adherence to programme guidelines/SOPs.
- Escalate bottlenecks with structured options and recommended actions.
3) Implementation Oversight (Field + Partners)
- Supervise execution across districts/cluster locations through regular field reviews and validations.
- Manage implementation partners/vendors (if applicable) to ensure SLA adherence and quality outputs.
- Ensure beneficiary/enterprise-centric operations (facilitation, support, grievance redressal as applicable).
4) MIS, Reporting & Outcome Tracking
- Set up and drive robust MIS: daily/weekly trackers, dashboards, monthly progress reports.
- Ensure data quality checks, documentation hygiene, and audit-ready reporting.
- Monitor outcome indicators (e.g., turnaround time, coverage, adoption/utilization, resolution time).
5) Process/SOP Strengthening & Continuous Improvement
- Create/refine SOPs, templates, checklists and operational guidelines for consistent execution.
- Identify gaps in workflows and recommend pragmatic improvements for efficiency and compliance.
6) Team Leadership (15+ Team)
- Lead a 15+ member team: work allocation, performance tracking, coaching and quality reviews.
- Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables with clear accountability and delivery discipline.
Qualification
- Post Graduate degree in Economics / Social Sciences / Public Administration OR Masters/PGDM (Business Management) from national/international premier institutes.
Experience
- 10+ years overall experience & 3–4+ years in MSME/Industries/Multi-sector domain with Central/State Government exposure.
- Preferred: led/managed government programmes (multi-district/state-level) with implementation governance.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong programme management (planning, tracking, governance, risk/issue management)

Work Requirements
- Base in Uttar Pradesh; fly-back will be provided by the firm to enable the candidate's access.
