Role Description The Team Lead – Inside Sales is a full-time on-site role based in Port Blair. This role involves leading and mentoring an inside sales team, setting daily and monthly sales targets, and monitoring performance to ensure revenue goals are met. The team lead will manage inbound and outbound calls, follow up on leads, and guide prospective learners through course options and enrollment processes. Responsibilities include maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving queries, collaborating with marketing and academic teams to improve conversion rates, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts. The role also requires implementing sales best practices, training team members, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, handle inquiries, and build long-term relationships.
- Proven Team Management and leadership abilities to supervise, coach, and motivate an inside sales team.
- Demonstrated Sales expertise, including lead conversion, upselling, and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prior experience in inside sales, telesales, or education/training sales is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in an on-site, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
