Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Industrial Engineering & Process Planning for SMT, PCBA, machining, and device assembly lines; drive Lean, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enable manufacturing through design and deployment of tools, jigs, fixtures, facility setups, and optimized workstation/ergonomic solutions.
  • Own equipment lifecycle—planning, capex, procurement, commissioning, and productivity/quality improvement aligned with specifications.
  • Drive seamless NPI, process introductions, and change management to achieve RFT at optimal cost.
  • Plan and execute capacity expansion, factory layout design, and capex programs including brownfield/greenfield setups.
  • Manage indirect procurement, tooling vendors, and tool crib operations.
  • Lead technical training and mentor industrial/manufacturing engineers through structured development programs.
  • Apply strong IE fundamentals—work measurement, line balancing, facility layout, material flow optimization, and process documentation.
  • Implement ergonomics programs (NIOSH-aligned), reducing operator fatigue; certified Ergo in Action Green Belt.
  • Expertise in controls engineering (PLC, HMI, networks, robotics), equipment upgrades, and MES integration.
  • Drive problem-solving and quality improvement using structured CAPA and analytical tools.
  • Lead strategic and tactical capacity planning, including throughput optimization, ramp planning, and cross-functional alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, (e.g., Electronics, Electrical, Industrial), or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Electronics or Automotive manufacturing, with a strong background in Manufacturing & industrial engineering, capacity planning, and systems development.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in the electronics industry (e.g., SMT, PCB assembly, box-build, test & repair).
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, and smart manufacturing platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and smart factory initiatives.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., ISO, IATF).
