Position: Team Lead - US Healthcare Recruitment

Experience: 4+ years of experience in US Healthcare Recruitment, including 1-2+ years in a team leadership/mentoring capacity

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 PM-4:30 AM IST

Weekends: Saturday & Sunday fixed off

Work Location: Noida, India - 100% Onsite

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Lead - US Healthcare Recruitment to lead and mentor a team of recruiters while driving recruitment performance and business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in US Healthcare Staffing, a solid understanding of healthcare recruitment processes, and the ability to coach recruiters, monitor performance, manage recruitment pipelines, and ensure consistent achievement of team targets.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance team management, recruitment strategy, operational excellence, and individual contribution in a fast-paced US staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of US Healthcare Recruiters to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Set clear performance expectations and monitor recruitment metrics, productivity, submissions, interviews, and placements.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and feedback discussions.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate action plans to improve productivity and quality.
  • Support recruiters in overcoming sourcing, screening, compliance, and candidate engagement challenges.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.

US Healthcare Recruitment

  • Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to submission, interview coordination, offer, and placement.
  • Handle and guide the team on recruiting for various US Healthcare positions, including clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure recruiters follow effective sourcing strategies across job boards, ATS, social media, referrals, and other channels.
  • Participate in hiring and recruitment activities personally when required, especially for critical or hard-to-fill positions.

Recruitment Strategy & Operations

  • Develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies to meet business and client requirements.
  • Monitor recruitment funnels and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with Account Management/Operations teams to understand client requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Ensure timely submission of qualified candidates against open requirements.
  • Maintain recruitment reports, dashboards, and accurate candidate records.
  • Analyze team performance data and provide regular updates to management.

Candidate & Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  • Guide the team in effectively communicating job details, compensation, benefits, assignments, and client expectations.
  • Support the team in handling candidate concerns, negotiations, and offer closures.
  • Ensure a high level of candidate quality and compliance before submission.

Compliance & Industry Knowledge

  • Stay updated on US Healthcare staffing trends, healthcare specialties, licensing requirements, compliance standards, and market conditions.
  • Ensure the team follows established recruitment, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of US healthcare job titles, specialties, certifications, and licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in US Healthcare Recruitment/Staffing.
  • Prior experience of 1-2+ years in a Team Lead, Senior Recruiter, or mentoring/people-management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the US Healthcare staffing industry and recruitment lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience recruiting for healthcare professionals across different specialties.
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare job titles, specialties, certifications, and licensing requirements.
  • Good understanding of US time zones, work culture, and recruitment practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and drive performance through data.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with ATS, job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving recruitment targets and maintaining quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Travel Nursing/Travel Healthcare Staffing.
  • Experience recruiting for multiple healthcare specialties.
  • Existing network of US Healthcare professionals.
  • Experience handling high-volume healthcare recruitment.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring a team of recruiters.
  • Strong professional track record with consistent performance.
