What You'll Do
This position is based at the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Pune, India. The role is responsible for leading a team that manages global Trade Compliance activities, including Restricted Party Screening (RPS), HS Classification, GTM audits, and GTM reporting. The incumbent will also drive the standardization, continuous improvement & transformation of these processes in close alignment with global process owners to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop trade compliance team
- Lead Global Trade Management operations and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Manage Restricted Party Screening (RPS) activities and resolve escalations.
- Oversee HS Classification and product compliance requirements.
- Plan & execute trade compliance audits and manage corrective actions.
- Accountable for compliance dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
- Drive process excellence, automation, and standardization initiatives.
- Conduct Risk assessment and transactional audits. Flagging process or documentation gaps & partnering to ensure timely closure.
- Partner and support development of global trade policies with key policy stakeholders
- Establish formal engagement and provide leadership to deploy GTM trade standards across the globe
- Deploy Eaton's CI framework for key GTM processes and improve engagement and standardization metrics for the GTM team.
Qualifications
Masters, preferably in International Business
10+ years of overall experience and 4+ years in Trade Compliance & in global environments is a must.

- In depth knowledge of customs, import and export, FTAs, customs valuation
- In depth knowledge of Harmonized system
