Employee relations focus on the legal and emotional aspects of the employer-employee relationship, ensuring a healthy, compliant work environment. Key objective of this role is to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage End to End to Employee relation cases including grievances, complaints, misconduct, absenteeism and employee disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure implementation of ER policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks
  • Guide line managers on disciplinary actions and ER processes
  • Assist in disciplinary processes documentation, notices, and meeting coordination
  • Support investigations by collecting information, statements, and evidence. Ensure timely case closure.
  • Maintain ER records, case files, and dashboards with confidentiality
  • Support employee communication initiatives and awareness sessions
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Ensure implementation of ER policies, SOPs and compliance framework
  • Partner with Business Leaders to resolve employee concerns effectively
  • Assist in exit process and Track and analyze ER metrics (attrition, grievances, absenteeism) to identify trends
  • Proactively flag risks and support actions to improve employee experience
  • Promote fair, consistent, and transparent workplace practices
  • Implementing initiatives that promote a positive company culture, such as recognition programs, employee surveys, and facilitating transparent, two-way communication between staff and leadership.

Key Success Measures

  • Grievance turnaround time (TAT), Resolution Quality and timelines
  • Policy query resolution accuracy
  • Documentation quality and compliance
  • Employee feedback on responsiveness
  • Reduction in ER Escalations

Skills & Experience

  • 4 to 6 years in Employee Relations/ HRBP for BPS/BPO or IT services;
  • Working knowledge of HR policies & Code of Conduct
  • Understanding of Indian labour laws (ID Act, Shops & Establishments, POSH)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Empathy, neutrality, and confidentiality
  • MS Excel and HRMS proficiency
  • Should be able to interpret AI-generated insights and output.
  • Data driven decision making
