- People Leadership & Operations
- Lead, coach, and support teams across MDM and PLM by ensuring clear goals, balanced workloads, strong collaboration, and continuous capability development.
- Enterprise System and Data technical leadership
- Oversee the architecture, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise PLM and MDM platforms. Drive system upgrade projects, provide strategic guidance to data migration topics, Architect integration workflow topics (eg. SAP, Legacy systems, etc.,) and CAD tools.
- Delivery steering across MDM and PLM teams
- Coordinate delivery priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across multiple technology areas while ensuring predictable execution and measurable business outcomes.
- Stakeholder and business alignment
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, global IT teams, project managers, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into feasible, scalable, and value-driven digital solutions.
- Performance development and capability building
- Provide structured feedback, mentoring, onboarding support, skill development plans, and career guidance to strengthen both technical and behavioural capabilities within the team.
- Delivery and governance
- Establish and enforce delivery governance across PLM and MDM teams, including quality reviews, documentation standards, solution validation, release readiness, risk tracking, and operational handover.
- Ensure that implementations are business-focused, technically sound, scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture, data governance, and platform standards.
- Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline) with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in Data management or enterprise PLM systems, with at least 3–5 years in a formal people leadership or team management role.
- Technical Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in managing and scaling Enterprise MDM platforms (SAP) and PLM environments. Familiarity with the integration of CAD authoring tools—specifically Siemens Solid Edge—with downstream PLM backbones (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter Integration for Solid Edge) is highly preferred
- Strong hands-on experience in solution implementation, including data analysis, data cleansing, dashboard/report development, data integration concepts, KPI definition, testing, performance improvement, and stakeholder sign-off.
- The candidate should possess solid understanding of data governance frameworks, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and change management controls within a traditional corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage priorities, resolve conflicts, influence global stakeholders, guide technical discussions, and build a high-performing team culture.
- Structure and consistency
- Facilitate workshops, technical discussions, and requirement clarification sessions to identify business problems, define measurable KPIs, evaluate solution options, and align teams on practical implementation approaches.
- Promote consistency, reuse, automation, documentation, and standard delivery practices across MDM and PLM teams while ensuring that solutions deliver visible business value.
