Role Description The Team Lead – Connectors will oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of data and system connectors that integrate Bluecopa's platform with external finance and enterprise systems. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves leading a team of engineers, planning and prioritizing connector roadmaps, and ensuring robust, secure, and scalable integrations. The role includes collaborating closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to understand integration requirements, troubleshoot connector issues, and deliver high-quality solutions. The Team Lead will also define best practices, review technical designs, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement in connector performance and reliability. Regular stakeholder communication, documentation of connector behavior and updates, and adherence to compliance and data security standards are integral to the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications

• Strong experience in systems integration, APIs, and connectors (e.g., REST, SOAP, webhooks) for finance or enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks commonly used for integration services (such as Python, Java, Node.js, or similar).
• Background in data modeling, ETL processes, and working with relational and cloud databases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, including mentoring, code reviews, and project planning.
• Experience collaborating with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with finance operations domains such as AR, AP, reconciliations, close, and reporting is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and microservices architectures; experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on reliability, security, and scalability in connector design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
