Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and patient-focused Team Lead to drive excellence in Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) therapy support and patient outcomes. The role involves leading and mentoring Clinical Specialists (CS), coordinating with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), ensuring operational excellence in patient support programs, and improving patient satisfaction and therapy adherence.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical coordination, patient management, leadership, and training capabilities within the healthcare or dialysis therapy domain.
Key Responsibilities
Therapy & Patient Support Management
- Drive awareness and adoption of PD therapy among patients and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
- Ensure excellence in patient counselling and therapy support through Clinical Specialists.
- Oversee and ensure completion of 5-day Initial Therapy Program (ITP) training and home setup for new patients.
- Monitor patient follow-ups and ensure high-quality patient engagement and support.
- Improve patient satisfaction and therapy outcomes through effective patient management initiatives.
- Conduct patient visits along with Clinical Specialists to assess quality of training and follow-up support.
Clinical Training & Education
- Conduct therapy and product training sessions for HCPs including programs such as PACE, PATH, etc.
- Drive training and patient education initiatives through Clinical Specialists (PEP programs).
- Provide demonstrations and training on APD systems and ShareSource platform.
- Support onboarding, coaching, and continuous development of Clinical Specialists through structured training sessions.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Lead and mentor the Clinical Specialist team to ensure achievement of regional therapy support objectives.
- Drive weekly planning, execution tracking, and accountability across the region.
- Conduct quarterly department review meetings for top accounts to assess PD program outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and compliant patient data management while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory standards.
- Verify and ensure proper completion and submission of all patient consent and ERM documentation.
Reporting & Compliance
- Track and report therapy gains, therapy losses, and patient migration on a weekly basis.
- Ensure timely reporting of all adverse events to the Pharmacovigilance team as per compliance timelines.
- Ensure closure of patient concerns and escalations within defined timelines.
- Review and monitor high-risk patient data with Clinical Specialists regularly.
- Facilitate joint visits with Clinical Specialists to share ITP and follow-up feedback with treating doctors.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with HCPs, nephrologists, hospitals, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly PD bulletin and PET report discussions with HCPs in key accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve patient support services and therapy outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related healthcare field.
- 5–10 years of experience in patient support, dialysis therapy, clinical coordination, or healthcare operations.
- Prior experience in Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) therapy or nephrology is preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of patient counselling, therapy management, and regulatory compliance.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
