Role:
We are seeking an experienced candidate with experience in handling US investment accounts to join our Financial Panning /Client Account trader/Investment review team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in CFP/CPA certification, with a focus on trading strategies for saving and minimizing taxes on investors portfolios & retirement accounts and performing investment review of clients portfolio. You will be responsible for handling various types of accounts, including IRAs, Roth IRAs, Rollover IRAs, and Joint Accounts, and understanding the impact of placing multiple investments in different types of accounts in terms of tax efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement tax-efficient investment strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Analyze clients financial situations, investment portfolios, and tax implications to identify opportunities for tax savings and minimization.
- Execute client trades, asset rotation, portfolio rebalancing and handle cash withdrawals across US investment and retirement accounts.
- Utilize RedBlack software to handle rebalances, bulk trading, household/account setup, SMA/UMA setup, and setting up equivalencies and restrictions.
- Manage cash contributions and cash withdrawal requests from various account types (IRAs, Roth IRAs, Rollover IRAs, Joint Accounts) while minimizing the impact on clients tax obligations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure clients receive the most effective tax strategies.
- Collaborate with financial advisors, portfolio managers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive understanding of clients financial goals and objectives
Criteria:
- Any Graduate
- Strong foundation in CFP/CPA certification, with a focus on strategies for saving and minimizing taxes/ Tax optimization on investors portfolios.
- Knowledge of 401k & retirement planning
- Experience in handling various types of accounts, including IRAs, Roth IRAs, Rollover IRAs, and Joint Accounts.
- Good understanding of US markets, asset classes and active/passive investment strategies.
- Understanding of the impact of placing multiple investments in different types of accounts in terms of tax efficiency.
- Experience in using Portfolio management software for rebalancing, bulk trading, household/account setup, SMA/UMA setup, and setting up equivalencies and restrictions.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/ CFP or other relevant professional certification.
- Advanced knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to investments and financial planning.
