Amazon Operations primarily consist of Inventory planning & supply chain, warehouse management, transportation, 3P seller order fulfillment, customer returns & customer service. The tasks handled by operations have a direct impact on customer experience with Amazon.com. You will work with the Leadership team at to improve existing systems or processes or devise new ways and reduce defects to serve Amazon's customers better. You will be required to analyze data, interact with cross functional teams, recommend and pilot improvements that will help us serve our customers better, in line with our goal to be the Earth's Most Customer Centric Company.
Key job responsibilities
Manage daily floor operations (inbound, outbound, and re-boxing)
Allocate tasks and monitor associate productivity
Ensure quality checks and minimize defects
Follow and enforce SOP compliance
Track and report daily performance metrics (KPI)
Coordinate with Area Managers for smooth operations
Resolve on-floor issues and ensure timely dispatch
A day in the life
Review D-1 metrics and develop action plan for misses
Review D day planning and bridge the gap to ensure smooth day operations.
Planning the ARTs and handling programs
- 3+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with Excel
- Experience in customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing
