Process Overview

The purchase and sales team is responsible for resolving the exceptions for the Fixed income and Equity products that arise during the trade cycle (T+1), house vs street book reconciliations and resolve trade proof breaks, The team ensures that all the queues are timely and accurately processed. Purchase and sales team interacts with various contra brokers and the ML trading desk associates to resolve the trade exceptions. The Queue Management team is responsible for ensuring all trades are processed from the front office to the back office accurately and timely. Various systems are utilized to accomplish this. The group monitors numerous reports and error queues to address the errors timely and accurately.

Job Description

Individual will be responsible for handling exceptions for Trade Processing & Queue Management. He /She will be involved in liaising with multiple teams (Brokers/Desk/Onshore partners) for meeting the Service Level Agreements (KRI/KCI's). Handling the Adhoc Queries/Escalations raised either by Internal or External teams.

In addition, the role is also required to identify trends/themes and opportunities for reducing the manual intervention for error free work culture and create more automation opportunities. Drive strong client focus and risk culture to ensure seamless delivery. Maintain good connect with LOB partners and able to handle Issues and Escalations independently.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily Trade exceptions
  • Ensure adherence to the SLA's / Metrics - productivity, turn-around-time and accuracy
  • Interact with multiple stakeholders on day to day activities
  • Drive Change - To identify workflow/systems inefficiencies and come up with new ideas for improvement and share the best practices with the team
  • Responding to Adhoc queries from internal and external clients

Requirements

Education: MBA/BBA/B COM

  • Certifications If Any : NA

Experience Range: 6-8 years

Foundational Skills

  • Good comm. Skills, Analytical Skills, Time Management and Excel
  • Good understanding of Global Capital Markets especially for Securities Upstream and Downstream flow
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment with significant ambiguity, and successfully adjust one's actions or behaviors to adapt to rapid changes and shifting priorities.
  • Evaluation of governance routines/policies/procedures to ensure internal & external compliance
  • Candidate must also have good written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task when faced with multiple deadlines
