We are seeking a Team Collection Manager to lead and manage the recovery branch for our Tractors and Farm Equipments (TFE) division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collection management and a proven track record in driving recovery efforts.
The Team Collection Manager will play a vital role in overseeing the recovery process for AGRI-FIN-TRACTOR LOANS AND RETAIL. They will lead a team of collection specialists, ensuring efficient and effective debt recovery strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate with various teams within Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
- Lead and manage the TFE Recovery Branch team, providing strategic direction and guidance.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery rates.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and operations, to ensure a seamless recovery process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies related to debt recovery.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers and external partners.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recovery progress to senior management.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in debt recovery.
- Ensure a customer-centric approach, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in collection management or a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successful debt recovery strategies and portfolio management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in debt recovery.

- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with collection management software is an advantage.
