Design, build, and maintain the data layer across UA's web properties, ensuring it is consistent, well-structured, and analytics-ready.
Implement and manage tags in Tealium iQ (tag management system), including load rules, extensions, and mappings.
Deploy and QA third-party marketing pixels—Facebook/Meta, Twitter/X, Snapchat, AWIN (affiliate), Bluecore, and similar—through Tealium rather than hard-coded.
Troubleshoot tag firing, data layer population, and tracking discrepancies across SPA contexts.
Collaborate with engineering and analytics stakeholders to ensure tracking requirements are captured and correctly instrumented.
Required Skills
Strong JavaScript (primary technical skill; this is fundamentally a JS-heavy role)
Hands-on Tealium iQ experience and data layer architecture/building.
Familiarity with single-page application (SPA) behavior and the tracking challenges SPAs introduce (virtual page views, route-change events, async rendering).
Working familiarity with Next.js and RequireJS module patterns—enough to instrument and debug tracking within those frameworks.
Experience deploying and validating third-party marketing/conversion pixels.
Experience with consent/privacy management within Tealium, server-side tagging, and analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics / GA) on the consumption side of the data layer.
