Job Description
The ICT Teacher will be responsible for teaching
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) / Computer Science to students from Grades 6 to 10 as per the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will develop students
digital literacy, coding skills, computational thinking, and responsible use of technology, while integrating technology into teaching and learning practices.
- Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons for Grades 610 aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office tools, coding concepts, and digital literacy.
- Introduce programming and logical thinking using tools like Scratch, Python, or basic HTML.
- Lesson Planning & Instruction
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, and digital learning materials.
- Use smart classroom tools, multimedia resources, and educational technology platforms to enhance learning
- Student Assessment & Feedback
- Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, practical assignments, and coding projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Ensure proper functioning and safe usage of computer lab equipment and software.
- Technology Integration
- Support integration of ICT tools across different subjects and classroom activities.
- Promote digital literacy, cyber safety, and responsible use of technology among students.
- Encourage students to participate in coding activities, tech exhibitions, and competitions.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership for curriculum planning.
